Woodhaven Highlights

*We had two runners in the top 9 and all 7 runners in the top 18.

*There were 31 Season PR’s and 4 All Time PR’s.

*A very good 59 second gap between our first 5 runners.

*We swept all the top places in the JV race.

*We had one runner under 21:00, 9 under 22:00, and 12 under 23:00.

*All 7 varsity runners won medals, and we brought home the 2nd place trophy – and we competed very well against other team’s “A” varsities.

WOODHAVEN INVITATIONAL

SATURDAY, SEPT. 11, 2010

 

At another race venue at the Woodhaven Invitational, Varsity B placed 2 runners in the top 9 and all 7 in the top 18 finishers. This race featured 31 SEASON PRs and 4 ALL TIME PRs. A very good 59 sec. gap between our first and 5th runners demonstrates the excellence of that packing ability and the rewards that come with team cohesiveness. Saline’s B team placed well against A squads and came home with the 2nd place trophy. The JV team swept all of the top places, which is part and parcel of the portrait of success.
