Highlights

*We had 3 medal winners (top 50) and finished 5^th out of 39 teams – including 7 teams currently ranked in the top 10 in the state in Division I.

*Considering the warm conditions (80+ degrees), we had some excellent individual performances.

 

 

Race Notes

*Winning time:  Gabbi Anzalone from Grand Blanc – 17:41 ( a winning margin of 1:10!)

*How much does the heat slow things down?  Last year there were 14 runners under 19:00.  This year there were two.  Last year there were 65 runners under 20:00.  This year there were 22.

*Over 7000 athletes competed in the various races at Portage throughout the day.
