- Member of the Wrestling Team in High School
- Attended Washtenaw Community College
- Plays recreational softball, volleyball and runs
- 1997 volunteered to coach Women's Cross Country Team/SHS
- Wife's name is Janet; has daughters Julie and Cathy.
- Owns a yellow lab named Abby
The girls' team is happy to welcome back Volunteer Coach Mark Bersuder for
another season! Coach Bersuder had two daughters on the team, and he
has been a volunteer coach for a number of years.
Coach Bersuder is a production manager at Great Harvest Bread Company - where he
begins his day at 4:00 a.m.! Coach Bersuder's wife, Janet, is an RN at
St. Joseph's Hospital; and daughter Julie is studying special education at
EMU, while daughter Cathy is at Grand Valley studying
pediatric physical therapy.
Coach Bersuder says he likes being part of the team because no one is cut,
and everyone is welcome. He believes that everyone is encouraged to do
their absolute best and that everyone is a valuable part of the team. In
his own words, "If it weren't such a positive atmosphere, I wouldn't be
here."
